?Barcelona may have come from a goal down to beat
Luis Suarez and Arturo Vidal got the goals as the visitors maintained their status as La Liga’s number one side. However, the fans did not hold back in their merciless criticism of the coach.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the match.
Youssef En-Nesryi lit up the contest with a spectacular curler into the top corner, with
Wow what a whip from Youssef En-Nesyri of Leganes to dumbfound the FC Barcelona boys in yellow. This just set the game in motion. FCB controls ball possession and Leganes scores. #LEGBAR super noisy atmosphere.

Absolutely brilliant finish from Youseff En Nesyri to give rock bottom of the table Leganés a 1-0 lead over top of the table Barcelona, Barcelona’s away form woes continue at the moment.

The international break is definitely over, Valverde magic is back

Barcelona were a mess at he back for the En-Nesyri goal (which was a beauty in its own right). They have responded with virtually no intensity. This has the makings of a really frustrating game.

Valverde outclassed by the worst team in the league. What’s new?

The gaffer was the main target of abuse from angry tweeters, though many of his players were likewise ridiculed…
??
Wow. That pass from Pique was appalling. He’s just pants. Maybe he got three hours of sleep instead of his usual four.

Pique should go enjoy tennis and Busquets should retire.
Suarez needs to leave for MLS.
Valverde needs to learn coaching— RVénger (@R__venger) November 23, 2019
You’d hope viewers would keep their comments classy – you’d be wrong…
dembele, busquets, pigrez OUT!
For pigs who can’t touch or pass a simple pass, waste a lot of celery

??Amongst those coming in for heavy criticism was Sergio Busquets, whose first-half booking meant he would be suspended for next weekend’s meeting with Atletico Madrid.
Barça supporters couldn’t decide whether it was good or bad news. Maybe that’s because his replacement will probably be
it’s about time we have an honest conversation about Busquets
— Fire Fist (@too_Paak) November 23, 2019
Fans may have spent most of the game complaining about Suarez’s performance, yet it was the Uruguayan who got La Blaugrana level as he nodded in following a near Lionel Messi free kick…
??
??
Suárez 1-1. Sort of goal that Leganés shouldn’t be conceding. Free header from a Messi free kick to level it up #LeganésBarça

It seemed Barcelona’s comeback was underway, but the home side responded strongly, Javier Aguirre’s men looking likeliest to score next.
Once again, the hate was directed at Valverde…
At this point, even Pochettino working on his farm in Argentina whilst still being the coach of Barça would be better than Valverde.

Frenkie and Busquets are both off and Vidal and Rakitic have taken their place in midfield. Cool

The coach restored some pride after one of his substitutions proved critical in the contest, Arturo Vidal finishing off a gilt-edged chance, the ball rebounding off a defender to the Chilean…
Last touch by a Leganes player. Vidal goal counts. Shitty goal on a shitty day. And Valverde thinks his subs changed the match.
— kevins (@kevvwill) November 23, 2019
Vidal should be always in the line up. He is the revelation like Paulinho
— Nelbgr (@nelbgr) November 23, 2019
And yet, Valverde still could not catch a break…
Vidal was never boring, to me, he was the player of the first leg match against Liverpool
Rakitic was never thought of as finished, Valverde is just his biggest problem

So, were Barcelona supporters happy at the end? Sort of…
Well, at least they’re top of La Liga…
