?Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti has revealed he would like to return to former club Lyon as either a player or a coach one day.
Umtiti has been the subject of various transfer rumours over the last few years, with Premier League sides Manchester United and Arsenal often credited with interest in the France international.
Injury problems have affected his position at Barcelona in recent seasons, with Clement Lenglet playing plenty of games in Umtiti’s absence, and the World Cup winner has now hinted at a potential future transfer by admitting he would like to return to Lyon one day, also revealing his ambition to become a coach.

He told
“Overnight, I received messages from my friends ‘ah, so you are joining Arsenal?’ I’m not, I’m sorry but I’m staying at Barcelona.
“Contacts with Arsenal? To be honest, I don’t know if they had conversations with my agent, I just told him that I didn’t care what was happening this summer and that it wasn’t even necessary to talk to me about it.”

Umtiti also revealed his ideal five-a-side team and, needless to say, it’s a pretty good one, made up of stars he has played alongside during his career.
